About THE-HIFF
THE-HIFF is an international documentary film festival hosted at various venues in Henley to celebrate and showcase the best in international feature and short documentary filmmaking. The festival celebrates films that provoke debate, evoke emotions and more importantly inspire audiences. These films will reflect individual greatness, inspirational stories and ambitions, environmental and social responsibilities. Through film we hope to not only inspire others, but also to evoke a self-belief that transcends deep into our own local community and outsiders alike.
THE-HIFF experience
With great films come great directors and producers. The audience, besides being wowed by our spectacular cinematic atmosphere and showcase of the worlds best documentary films (not often seen by the public), will have the opportunity to interact and discuss the films with the directors and producers before and after screenings through an audience participation forum. This will allow the audiences to share views and get an insight to the various films, their directors and their inspiration behind making the films.

Screenings for films will be occuring at several different venues throughout Henley-on-Thames. Whilst all of them are within 10 minutes walking distance from the town center, the details of each location are provided below:
